Welcome to the Ysgol Clywedog website.  I am delighted to introduce myself as the Headteacher at Ysgol Clywedog.  Our main aim is to ensure that all of our students achieve their full potential in all areas of their school life. 

We firmly believe in educating the whole child.  We look to promote achievement in all areas of school life, such as academic success, sporting achievement and nurturing creative talents in the Arts and Technology. We place a great emphasis on the twin notions of respect and communities. 

We encourage all students to respect each other and all members of the wider school community.  In short, every person associated with our school matters.  Individual personal development is at the heart of what we do. As we approach our 10th anniversary we have much to be proud of.  We are a caring community school with excellent facilities. 

We constantly achieve good examination results, we are never complacent and we have tried to capture some of the energy and inspiration from the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics. 

We look to aim high and set challenging goals for everyone associated with the school.  We set the highest standards and we look to be the best we can be.
